At 16 years old, Lamine Yamal tops the ranking of the world’s most dribbled footballers under the age of 23 in the five best Leagues, according to a study by CIES Football Observatory. With 56 dribbles in League games and an average of six per 90 minutes, the pearl of Barça surpassing the ranks of footballers with more experience than those already Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Naples), Takefusa Hut (Royal Society) and Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), among others.
Outside of the big leagues, the Norwegian Antonio Nusa (Club Brujas), 18 years old, leads the table Luis Guilherme (17 years old), Palmeirasand Wesley Gassova (18 years old), Corinthians. Two more Under-20 players are in the top 10: the Ghanaians Isahaku Fatawu (Leicester) and Ibrahim Osman (Nordjaelland).
Calculated from data Wyscout, the index used was obtained by multiplying the frequency of successful dribbling in League matches, the success rate of attempted dribbles, as well as the sports level of the games played (as a percentage deviation from on the general average). The classification only includes players who have played at least 450 minutes in the League in the current season.
