At the start, local Joan Piera, from the front, sent a strain on the post. Then, a shot by Jordi Cano was picked up by a defender between the posts. In the 12th minute came the only chance for the team from La Mancha in the entire match, with a header from Escriche that Marcos deflected for a corner. Pau Salvans and Piera, on two occasions, scored before the break.
As soon as the 2nd half started, Jordi Cano took advantage of a defensive error by Albacete to score the winning goal in an empty net.
