The Biscayan Omar Fraile (Santurtzi, 33 years old), will continue for two more years with Ineos Grenadiers after signing a new contract until 2025 with the British squad, which he joined in 2022.
A renewal that delights the Basque cyclist, who has 8 victories on his record, including stages in the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia.
“You feel pride when you wear the shirt of one of the best teams in the world. There is pressure, but it is something that is felt in a very special way. I am very happy to continue for two more seasons with Ineos Grenadiers ,” commented the Basque cyclist.
Fraile’s best memories of the season that is about to end include the stage victory at the Vuelta a Andalucía and the start of the Tour de France in Bilbao.
“The home run on the Tour was incredible. I hope to experience many more moments like this in the coming seasons,” he said.
