The Colombian Camilo Villegas surprised this Friday by being the new leader of PGA World Wide Technology Championship by scoring a 64 stroke card in the second round.
In the Mexican resort of Los Cabos, the Medellín native achieved birdies on the second, third, sixth, ninth, twelfth, sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth holes, in addition to an eagle on the first.
In the first round, on Thursday, Villegas also finished with 64 strokes which, added to today, allowed him to finish with 128 after the first two rounds, two less than the American. Matt Kucharsecond in classification.
Kuchar finished Friday with a 65 stroke, the same as yesterday. In third place are German Stephan Jaeger and American Justin Suh, who both had rounds of 65 hits for a total of 131.
