The list of Caja Rural-Seguros RGA runners continues to take shape for next season with the renewal of the contracts of David González and Michal Schlegel, both for another year. They all came from having a great campaign and being an integral part of the team’s equipment.
David González from Avila will complete his sixth season in the green structure, coming from the Caja Rural-Alea subsidiary. His resilience and continued evolution led him to raise his arms for the first time as a professional this year at the first stage of the GP Torres Vedras. In addition, he added great places to parts of the Vuelta a España and the Tour of Slovenia.
For his part, Czech Michal Schlegel will face his third year under the green team umbrella after establishing himself as a superb team player who knows how to take advantage of his opportunities to shine. His 4th place overall at Torres Vedras was outstanding, with various places of honor such as 5th at his country’s Nationals. Furthermore, like David, he finished the last Vuelta a España.
The renewal of the same rider forms a squad of twenty riders so far to face the next season with ambition and maximum enthusiasm.
