Alisson Becker, Liverpool goalkeeper, and Ederson Moraes, Manchester City goalkeeper, shared the Premier League Golden Glove, with 20 clean sheets (matches without scoring) each.
This award, unlike other leagues, is not awarded for the percentage of goals received, but for the number of clean sheets throughout the championship.
This is the third time Ederson has won a Gold Glove. The Brazilian goalkeeper has also won the past two seasons. Her compatriot Alisson achieved this for the second time, after 2018-2019.
The Brazilian goalkeeper both defeated Hugo Lloris, who finished third with 16 clean sheets, and Édouard Mendy, who was fourth with 14. Spaniard Vicente Guaita was sixth, with 11 clean sheets, same as Robert Sánchez, while David de Gea, Gold Glove four seasons ago, was eleventh, with eight invincible fences.
