Although the Federal Court of Switzerland is the last legal instance in which the Ecuadorian Federation can choose due to its disagreement with the decision of CAS, the highest international authority in the field of sports justice, The FEF has assured that it will exhaust all possible means to recover that penalty.
“We maintain our commitment to exhaust all the resources that the law gives us to show our correct behavior and fix the unjust decision, regardless of the forum in which we have to do it,” FEF said in a statement this Monday.
The FEF insists that all the actions carried out by its institution are in accordance with the legal regulations of Ecuador. Also, he assured that he will fight to get a passport to the next 2026 World Cup on the field.
