Even nine out of 22 teams of LaLiga Hypermotion will be affected today by calls of national teams competing in various competitions. EA Sports LaLiga, like the main European competitions, was stopped for this reason but not the silver category, which continues its normal development despite the absence of internationals from its teams.
Eldense, Mirandés, Valladolid, Zaragoza and Amorebietaincluding players in the Spanish under-21 team, and Espanyol, Levante, Leganés and Huescawhere footballers participating in foreign teams, are the clubs that will leave some of their pieces to face their commitments the next day.
Despite this, there was never any question about postponing their matches, as was done this past Sunday, when the Mallorca-Cádizat the initial request of LaLiga and the subsequent approval of the Federation, was postponed due to the absence of Majorcan player Vedat Muriqi, who was called up by Kosovo.
The Balkan team called the striker to face Israelin a match that was postponed in October due to the war between Israel and Hamas and that was scheduled for this past Sunday, which was initially not part of the official bracket of national teams dictated by FIFA, which extended the said time to accommodate the Kosovo-Israel.
Muriqi’s absence was deemed sufficient by LaLiga reason for requesting adjournment of Mallorca-Cádiz. The same is not the case in Second Division matches where as many as nine clubs will be involved without some of their players due to call-ups by their national teams. Nine clubs are involved in six of the eleven matches that make up the program for matchday 16.
