The Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) was “disappointed” to finish second in the Las Vegas Grand Prix race of Formula 1, though, he acknowledged that “this is the best” they can “get.”
“What race! I failed to finish second, but it was the best we could get. Coming out is complicated because Max -Verstappen- sent me out after losing grip. We were strong, but we were unlucky with the last safety car, we didn’t stop and it was difficult to fight with the broken tires,” he commented on the international signal.
A Leclerc who contemplated the return, 41 years later, of F1 in Las Vegas.
“I enjoyed it. We need this second place after how the weekend started. There is no better race to be first in Las Vegas. I feel great energy in the city, I have enjoyed it a lot,” he said.
“I’m sure everyone is very happy.. We should have more races like this because it’s so enjoyable,” he concluded.
