Milan went mad yesterday at the ‘scudetto’ celebration on the streets of the Lombard capital, the first winner since 2010-11. Thousands of fans participated in the Milanista party. The Italian champions toured the city in an open-top bus, but there was no shortage of controversy.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, a banner appeared on the Milan bus, passed by the players, against Inter and similar to the one shown in 2007 by Massimo Ambrosini at the Champions League celebrations. The banner passed by the red and black players yesterday read: “Put the Coppa Italia in c ….”, referring to the title won by the eternal rival citizen after beating Juventus 2-4 in the final. Inter finished 2nd in Serie A, 2 points behind Milan.
In 2007 the banner carried by Ambrosini read: “The‘ scudetto ’placed it on c. …. ”. Inter won Serie A. There was a response from black and blue Marco Materazzi and other controversial stages.
