The Catalan Edu Prades (Alcanar, 1987) has extended his relationship with the team for another season Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, practice in which he would add his sixth complete year, counting two different periods. The cyclist from Tarragona thus reinforces his role as captain of the road, as he is the only member of the 2024 squad over 30 years old.
This latest campaign was able to combine his personal desires with the work of supporting other colleagues, who play an important role in the successes of cyclists from Caja Rural-Seguros RGA in the Tour of Hellas, Tour of Langkawi or Torres Vedras Grand Prix, where Edu was about to raise his arms after finishing second on the second day in a row.
Indeed, during the summer he showed a good level in the Basque classics in July, finishing seventh in Ordizia and sixth in Getxo, showing his usual competitive character on winding terrain such as the dots in roads of Euskadi and Navarra.
Prades is the latest renewal within a very young group to which the Catalan will try to contribute all his wisdom and experience of more than a decade as a professional cyclist.
