1. End of the straight at the start of lap 3.
Bagnaia and Martín – first and second – came to braking at the end of the straight, but sucked by the vacuum of Ducati #1, the Spanish rider could not stop the bike. He grabbed Bagnaia and went straight to the track. He returned to the race in eighth position.
2. Martin’s downfall.
In a mad attempt to reach the race leader, Martín overtook the drivers ‘mercilessly’. He reached Marc Márquez’s tire, tried to pass him, but his front tire touched Marc’s rear tire. Both suffered violent falls… The world title has an owner.
3. The ‘Martin Out’ board.
On the next pass to the finish line, Bagnaia’s team warned him that Jorge was gone, and Pecco’s drive automatically lost intensity, which Binder and Miller took advantage of to overtake him.
4. The errors of Binder and Miller.
The two KTM riders seemed to have a clear path to the podium, but Binder first widened under braking, and then Miller fell, riding a comfortable first place. Two mistakes put Bagnaia back in first position to prove his second world title with victory.
5. Viñales’ rear wheel.
Maverick started again from pole, being the only driver on the entire grid to use a soft rear tire. A choice that went completely wrong, and ended up giving his teammate, Aleix Espargaró, sixth place in the championship.
