The current board of Boca Juniors appealed this Friday the suspension of the elections scheduled for this Sunday, dictated by the Argentine Justice, in a last attempt to try to keep the elections on the indicated date.
As reported by the entity ‘xeneize’ in its social networks, the lawyers of the current boardled by Jorge Ameal and Juan Román Riquelme -who is now running for the Presidency- “appealed the resolution issued by the head of the National Civil Court No. 11 which ordered the suspension of the election law at the request of the opposition” and raised the “nullity of such judicial that statement ” by “irregularities”.
In its statement, the current board questions the opposition – represented by Andrés Ibarra and Mauricio Macri– “to reconsider, stop hurting the club” so that members can “freely choose their authorities and participate in a great party.”
