Sergio’s crack because of the state of the grass: ”Maybe if another team comes it won’t be played anymore”

The coach of the Cádiz team showed his anger at the decision to play the match between Arandina and Cádiz (2-1) despite the poor condition of the grass which ended the team’s exit from the first division.

”I congratulate Arandina, competed very well and adapted to the field better than us. I praise you above all else. If they win it’s for something, it’s not a gift. I apologize to the Cádiz fans, I’m ashamed. It happened to us again. I hope we can be rewarded on Sunday. There is no field to play football. These are events that harm the higher category group more than the lower category group. I don’t want that to be a headline. Congratulations to Arandina. But it’s not practical.”

“That’s how the competition likes it, the referee says it’s a game. We have nothing more to say. They didn’t talk to me, they told me that it had to be played, that they tried the ball and that it rolled. There is little to talk about in football, competing is another matter.
