Julia Takacs announced her retirement

Takacs said he experienced “exciting moments” but most of all he met “incredible people”. He is grateful “mainly to those who made it possible for me to get medals, marks, records.”

He quoted his coach from Budapest, José Antonio Quintana – “he put up with me for 11 years in Blume” – and Montse (Pastor) and Chuso (García Bragado), “which, in addition to their professionalism, made me feel like a family“.

Finally, he extended his gratitude to the Spanish Federation, to his club and to the University of Murcia. “In the Spanish Federation, which always helps me, in hardship and comfort.
