UD Las Palmas shows the path of integrity and management of emotional wear in sports

UD Las Palmas launched a plan for the youth team of the yellow team to learn how to work better by knowing how to manage the emotional exhaustion represented by the roller coaster of results. Yon Berástegui Martínez, professor at the University of the Basque Country and member, until the 2022-2023 season, of the psychopedagogical area of ​​Real Sociedad SAD and part of the emotion and performance unit of this club, visited UD Las Palmas to give of training in emotional competitions with athletes and participation of more than 60 coaches from UD Las Palmas and agreed club.

For Berástegui Martínez “the importance of knowing how to adapt to the reality we experience in sport and, at the same time, the responsibility that includes training young footballers which requires a series of tools that grassroots football coaches must have and use in the teaching process that help them understand and manage the emotional world of young athletes.

Integrity. Members of the Unión Deportiva Las Palmas team participated in an information session provided by the LaLiga Integrity and Security department. The central theme of the speech, given by Pedro Varasare irregular behaviors, focused primarily on results and effects related to practices such as fixing and illegal sports betting.
