Everton delay move to new stadium

Everton has postponed its move to a new stadium in Bramley-Moore Dock and will remain at Goodison Park for another season, until 2025/2026.

The new stadium construction project remains on schedule and will be completed by the end of next year.

In a meeting between the Everton board and the club’s fan groups, it was decided to delay the change for a year due to “numerous commercial, logistical, sporting and fan-related factors”.

Furthermore, according to Everton, it will allow “a proper farewell” to the current Goodison Park.
