He Liverpool condemned the damage caused by the bus Manchester United after a glass bottle was thrown at him as he made his way to Anfield ahead of Sunday’s derby. In a video circulating online, you can see the moment before the bottle is thrown at the car.
“Liverpool Football Club strongly condemns the actions which caused damage to the Manchester United team bus on its arrival at Anfield this afternoon,” the club said in a statement. “We are aware of images of the incident circulating online and we are working with Merseyside Police to investigate and identify those responsible. Anyone found guilty of this appalling behavior will also face the full disciplinary process of club.”
Videos posted on social media show the team bus traveling down Anfield Road when it was hit by what appeared to be a glass bottle which hit the window and left a crack.
