Earlier, Badosa played alongside Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, world number two, in the women’s doubles match against the team formed by American Sofia Kenin and Russian Mirra Andreeva. The Spaniard also won with a score of 6-3 after Tsitsipas, along with Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, fell to Russians Medvedev and Andrey Rublev, in the men’s doubles, 7-6(3).
