Lehmann was convicted of using a chainsaw in combat

The former German international goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, 54, was sentenced to pay a total of 420,000 euros for using a chainsaw in a fight with a neighbor. The sentence also reflects ten months of suspended prison for the accused.

The court considers that the former goalkeeper of Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Milan, Stuttgart or the German team is guilty of property damage, insult and attempted fraud, for which it is ordered to pay the aforementioned amount, at the rate of 210 daily installments of 2,000 euros each.

Accused by the Prosecutor’s Office Lehmann of breaking into a neighbor’s garage with a chainsaw and sawing off a roof beam because it blocked his view of a pond.

The former porter admitted during the trial that he entered the said garage with a chainsaw although he cited gaps in his memory and lies from his neighbor to defend himself against the accusations. Finally, he was convicted.
