The Spanish Cristina Espejo and Eduardo Menachowith third place, climbed the podium this Saturday of International Cross of Aragon awarded in the American women’s category Katherine Izzo and in masculine Burundian Eriz Nzambimana.
Nzambimana, 21 years old, came to the event with a time of 13:45 this year in the 5,000 in Castellón and, in Venice Park in Zaragozareaffirmed his progress with success ahead of the Kenyan ALlan Biwott and the Aragonese Eduardo Menacho.
The other Spaniards in the top ten are Tony Abadia sixth, Pol Oriach eighth and Sergio del Barrio ninth.
In the women’s category the victory went to the main favourite, Katherine Izzo, third a few days ago at Cross de Venta de Baños. Second is the Kenyan Carolyne Biwott and third the Aragonese Cristina Espejo.
The Aragonese too Mireya Arnedillo is seventh, Marta Ceperuelo in the octave and Paula Jimenez tenth.
