On August 10, the first Olympic event open to the public in history will take place: the Marathon pour Tous (Marathon for All). It’s a 42K open to popular runners that starts at 9 pm and continues same route as the Olympic marathon which will take place that same day at 8 am.
20,000 people are expected to take part in the race that connects the center of Paris with the nearby city of Versailles and where there are still more than 12,000 numbers are available. Simultaneously, an open 10K trial will take place in the center of Paris from 11:30 pm
The telecommunications company Orangeofficial sponsor of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has launched a call to recruit 82 hare who will be in charge of setting the pace in both the Marathon for All and the 10K trials.
To apply, it must be entered by interested parties websitecomplete a form online, upload supporting documents required and upload a video stimulation with a duration of one minute.
The 82 preselected people must participate in one of the races sponsored by Orange to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills to perform as hares. Among these races are the Paris Half Marathon 2024 (March 3) and Paris Marathon 2024 (April 7).
