The Israeli goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, Sven Ulreich’s replacement for starter Manuel Neuer at Bayern Munich, has injured his right knee and will be out for several weeks, the Bavarian club announced on Saturday in a statement.
Arriving at Bayern in the summer of 2023, young international Daniel Peretz (23 years old, 1 cap for Israel) suffered “damage to the internal ligament of his right knee this week in training,” explained Bayern . The club “will have to provide his services in the coming weeks.”
Peretz played one match in Bayern colours, the 32nd German Cup final against 3rd division Münster (4-0 victory). He replaced Manuel Neuer, along with Sven Ulreich, in the Munich goal.
