No penalty FIFA in the Brazilian Football Confederation after the visit this Monday, as we already announced in MD, to Rio de Janeiro of a delegation from the highest body in the world of football led by its director of legal affairs, the Spaniard Emilio García Silvero.
In this way, any possible sanction of the exclusion of the Brazilian team as well as the clubs of this country from international competitions is ruled out.
This decision was adopted, and it was made public by the CBF in a statement, after the annulment of the judicial decision that temporarily dismissed the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). That is, there is no external and political interference that justifies the sanction from FIFA.
The FIFA delegation understands that with this proposal normality is restored to the Brazilian Federation, ending any doubts about Brazil’s participation in Venezuela Pre-Olympic.
The president of the CBF himself, Ednaldo Rodrigues, received the delegation led by the director of legal affairs of FIFA, the Spanish Emilio Garcia, together with the legal manager of Conmebol, the Paraguayan Rodrigo Aguirre.
FIFA considered as key the decision adopted by the last nine of the Supreme Court of the Federal Court of Brazil that annulled the dismissal of the CBF president.
If this does not happen, Brazil is at great risk of suffering sanctions of exclusion from FIFA due to external interference. As in other federations they have happened in the past.
