Yarmolenko, Noble and the other casualties announced by West Ham

In addition to captain Mark Noble and goalkeeper David Martin, Andriy Yarmolenko and Ryan Fredericks will also leave West Ham at the end of the season. The ‘hammer’ club reported this on Friday. They all end their contracts this Monday, June 30th.

Yarmolenko joined West Ham in 2018 and was plagued by injuries, until he only scored 13 goals during his time at the London club. His goal against Sevilla qualified him as the ‘hammers’ for the Europa League quarterfinals.

Fredericks made 27 Premier League appearances for West Ham in 2019-20, but Vladimir Coufal was the starting right-back.

Noble has made over 500 appearances for the club in all competitions, the seventh most appearances in all competitions. He has played more Premier games than any other West Ham player, 414. At the age of 35, the midfielder has scored 62 goals as a hammer. but he has found his playing time limited these last two seasons. Nobl, who landed on West Ham’s first team in 2004 and was appointed captain in 2015, said that in March 2021 this 2021-22 season would be the last time he would stay at the club.

West Ham finished 7th in the recent Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
