The Spanish woman of Moldovan origin Cristina Bucsa lost to Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the first favorite, 6-3 and 7-5thus bid farewell to the Adelaide tournament (Australia) in the round of 16.
Bucsa, who recovered for the main draw despite losing in the qualifying phase to Russian Anna Kalinskaya, She reached the second round after defeating Italian Jasmine Paolini in the first.
