Xavier Andreu Casañas will join again RCD Espanyol as Director of Communications and Institutional Relationswith speaker duties, once he leaves his current job as head of External Relations of Sports High Performance Center (CAR) of Sant Cugat, the blue and white club reported this Wednesday in an official statement.
Xavier Andreu, with extensive experience in the press, radio and television, has followed the news of RCD Espanyol for many years in COPE Chain and in Televisió de Catalunya and from 2006 to 2011 he served as Director of Communications and External Relations of our club and later, for 10 years, served as General Secretary of Sports and Physical Activity of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
This decision ensures the RCD Espanyol, “This is part of the club’s intention to strengthen this area after Sergio Aguilar’s departure and continue the club’s expansion in the communicative and institutional sphere.”
