Jennifer Miranda was named interim WBA featherweight world champion

Jennifer “Storm” Miranda (10-0-0) became the new Interim Featherweight World Champion WBA (World Boxing Association) after defeating the undefeated Argentine champion by unanimous decision (100-90/ 99-91 and 100-90) Lara Altamirano (9-1-0) inside the boxing spectacle that is The Boxer Club closed on the evening of Sunday, January 7 under the name of Kings & Queens Night at Callao Cinemas in Madrid.

It was an afternoon of sporting dreams where Miranda showed his amazing physical and technical-tactical preparation for this challenge in front of his spectators. In this way, the judges’ cards reflect the excellence that the Spaniard maintained during the ten rounds of the fight against the Argentine rival who tried everything without success against a “Storm” named Jennifer Miranda who excelled in his performance in the ring.

Amateur duels

-Kike Levy won a split decision against Nico Agudo.
-Eduardo Reyzabal won by unanimous decision against Anthony Peláez.
-Clara Cortés won by unanimous decision against Natalia Tomeo.
-Maxi Lora of RSC won the second round against Bruno Sinisi.
-Andy Tamayo defeated Vielo Strong by unanimous decision.

With his colleague, Jonathan “Maravilla” Alonso (24-2-0) faced off for an intermediate title from the same organization against the Argentine Nicolas Ariel Blanco (10-1-0) in an exciting match where Alonso showed that he is in great form, winning before the limit (7th round) when the referee of the match decided to stop the actions.

Before, and as a precedent to these achievements, local boxer from The Boxer Club, Giulio Commerso (3-1-0) he faced the Bulgarian Yanko Naydenov six rounds, also achieving victory before the limit via technical KO in the second round.
