The platform BlaBlaCar has registered, just this Friday, more than 30 shared car trips from various points of the Community of Madrid to Saint-Denis (Paris)where this Saturday the Champions League final will be held in between real Madrid and the Liverpool.
According to a press release, the company saw a 300% increase in searches for shared cars and bus trips from the province of Madrid a Paris for this weekend, in conjunction with the celebration of the said sporting event.
According to their data, half of the trips published on the platform are complete, and more than 30 cars have been registered to leave from Madrid capital, Getafe, El Escorial, Leganés, Alcalá de Henares, Boadilla, San Agustín de Guadalix at Valdemorowith a direct connection to Saint-Denis.
Users will cover more than 1,200 kilometers to reach the French capital and the average price for shared cars is 70 euros per passenger.
The director of operations BlaBlaCar in Spain and Portugal, Florent Bannwarth explained, that in two weeks more trips to Paris were published for these dates.
