The Spanish Paralympic cycling team closed their participation in the World Cup in Adelaide (Australia) this Wednesday with a final bronze medal by Luis Miguel García Marquina in the handbike category, bringing the national team’s haul in the competition to nine medals.
Luis Miguel García-Marquinawho came fourth in the MH3 class individual time trial on the first day of competition, rose to third place on the podium in the online race led by Italian Martino Pini.
On the last day, in the MH4 class, Martín Berchesi finished eighth in a race won by the Belgian Van de Steene, and Gonzalo García Abella from Madrid settled in fifth position in the online race for class tricycles of MT1.
The Spanish team returned from Adelaide with a haul of nine medals, two of which were gold in a time trial with the Valencian Ricardo Ten (MC1) and the Galician Damián Ramos (MC4). The rest are two silver and five bronze.
