This is how the round of 32 of the Australian Open looks like

Date:

First Grand Slam of the season, there’s plenty of competitive filming to be done, and surprises have come from the opening rounds at Melbourne Park. There were a number of surprises, though the big four survived: Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, in the men’s box and Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenkain the feminine.

While no one is exempt from hardships, neither is the ten-time champion Novak Djokovic, who spent more than seven hours on court, serving two sets. one left Carlos Alcaraz in the second against Lorenzo Sonego. Swiatek fought back against Danielle Collins from 1-4 down in the third set, three balls down at 2-5 and the American’s serve.

It’s even worse Daniel Medvedev coming back from two sets down to Finn Emil Ruusuvuori in a meeting that ended around 4 am local morning.

For the hits, the Dane one Holger Rune (8), against Frenchman Arthur Cazaux, and the 2023 finalist, Kazakh Elena Rybakinanew Anna Blinkova.

There were five of the nine top-10 contestants (Karolina Muchova was absent due to injury), absent from the tournament. In addition to Rybakina (3), Pegula (5), Jabeur (6), Vondrousova (7) and Sakkari (8).

In the men’s event, it was less hectic as Alexander Zverev (6) and Hubert Hurkacz (9) were saved in five sets by lifting two adverse markers.
