Mourinho received a final tribute to Roma in the form of thanksgiving banners that remind how important it is for a fan who once again celebrated a European title, the 2022 Conference League, and that is on the verge of entering the Champions League if not defeated in 2023 Europa League final against Sevilla.

“You defended our Rome, you led us to victory. José Mourinho, eternal glory”, There’s another one on one of the sides, right next to one: “Mourinho, one of us.”

A show of gratitude to a coach who for two and a half seasons has united the team and the fans in a way that hasn’t happened in a long time.
Now the legendary Daniel De Rossi take the reins. The new coach also received chants before the match and several banners were displayed saying “Welcome home again, Daniele.”
