A 29-year-old driver refueled but did not pay at a gas station in Wolfsberg in Carinthia on Saturday afternoon. But that wasn’t the only reason why the handcuffs clicked on the fugitive.
The 29-year-old was approached by an employee and asked to pay. But the Bulgarian did not comply with this request and fled in the car.
The police were immediately alerted and started a search. The driver was arrested a short time later. However, he declined to make a statement. An alcohol test performed on him came back positive. He has lost his appearance.

Moreover, it appears that he has no permanent residence in Germany. The 29-year-old was therefore temporarily arrested and taken to the police station.
