Olot finished the first round tied for both points and goals scored and conceded with l’Hospitalet, after narrowly defeating Montañesa, and was proclaimed winter champion.
The start of the game was not as expected, as the game was very chaotic and only Olot attempted two shots without consequence. The tone did not change until reaching the intermediate period.
After the restart, the clearest chance of the match came, with a venomous shot by Urri and, after touching the ball on the crossbar, Marc Roquet headed very close to the post.
The response from the Nou Barris squad was immediate. After battling for possession, Gabaldón crossed from the low baseline and Izuchi didn’t arrive in time to put the ball into Mourín’s goal. The final stretch was impressive with both teams looking for victory. Kevín Díaz forgave the foul. In extra time, with a throw-in, Barnils combed his head and Maynau made it 0-1 with his face.
