Sabadell saved a point from their visit to Las Gaunas. Óscar Cano’s team did not have their best afternoon, as they kept the balance in the first half and found themselves behind in the second. Escobar put the Riojans ahead and four minutes later, a header from Moyano sealed the tie.

Gaizka’s header after a corner gave Sestao a good chance to defend their lead. Although Ponferradina tried, it was difficult for them to open lines.
