GasGas featured Acosta’s first MotoGP and Augusto’s reunion

Only a few days left until the start of the MotoGP season of 2024. The preseason tests are almost here and now it’s time for the presentations. This Monday it’s time to reveal the RC16, the design of GasGas Factory Racing Tech3. One of the performances marked on the calendar to find out which motorcycle to use Pedro Acostawho for many is the future star and image of the championship, made his debut in the main category.

On the other side of the box there is also one of the pearls of Spanish motorcycling, such as Augusto Fernandez, which has already debuted in the structure in 2023. Both pilots are very optimistic and happy with the work carried out at the factory during the winter.

A duo has been spotted

Pedro and Augusto are well known. Both riders have been defending KTM colors for many years and just two seasons ago they shared a box with the Moto2 team. The two formed a high-level pairing that culminated in the Madrid native becoming world champion and the Murcian rookie of the year.

“Acosta is a super talented rider. When we met in Moto2 we wanted to beat each other and we pushed each other to reach our limits,” commented Augusto in the presentation video.

“We made a good team. I think now we can raise the level for next season,” Acosta commented about Fernández.
