Players who played for Real Madrid and Getafe

This Thursday (9:00 pm/Movistar LaLiga) Getafe and Real Madrid face off in the postponed rivalry for the Spanish Super Cup on matchday 20. So, after several years of extraordinary relations in the offices, we remember some of the most important players .important passes for both teams.

Raul Albiol

Currently at Villarreal

The former Spain international defender and member of the 2010 world champion team trained at the Valencia youth academy. From there he moved to Getafe in the 04/05 season and, later, he signed for Real Madrid after a new spell with Turia’s team. He continued his career at Villarreal after a long spell at Naples.

Also trained at the Real Madrid youth academy, Roberto Soldado is a globetrotter who has played for teams such as Osasuna, Valencia, Tottenham, Fenerbahçe and Villarreal. Before all this, he played for Getafe for two seasons and scored 33 goals in 66 games.

Stephen Granero
