Mandarache Cartagena athlete Raúl Guevara wins the IX Cross of Alumbres with a time of 21:53, at 28:40 ahead of Sabina María Rico, from CA Nogalte – Hogar Puerto Lumbreras, in the 10th round of the RCH 2022, which will take place this Saturday is being held
The popular Region of Murcia Running Challenge 2022 race track experienced an unprecedented event on the calendar this last weekend in May. That was the case on Saturday, in the context of the IX Cross de Alumbres, over a distance of about 6 km. in the absolute nomination and that would host the 10th scoring event of the RCH 2022. All this, with start and finish in the Pabellón de Alumbres, within the Secante sports complex, and under the organization of the Alumbres Sport Sports Club in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, the City Council of Cartagena and Repsol.
In the men’s category, the absolute victory corresponded to the athlete from Cuatro Santos Cartagena Raúl Guevara, with a time of 21:53, followed by Alberto González, of the UPCT Puerto de Cartagena, in 22:10, as well as José Carlos Caparrós , of the CD Alumbres Sport, at 22:43.
In the women’s section, the CA Nogalte – Hogar Puerto Lumbreras athlete Sabina María Rico would be the fastest, in 28:40, ahead of Saray Paredes, of CD Runtritón Cartagena, who stopped the clock in 28:57. 3rd at the finish was Kleine Gómez, from CA Mandarache Cartagena, at 30:15.
