Jon Rahm finished 3rd and won as a team in his LIV Golf debut

The signing of Jon Rahm through LIV Golfestimated at around 500 million dollars, around 463 million euros, caused an earthquake in December when the Basque was a player called to mark an era.

The native of Castellón immediately got into good momentum (three birdies in his first seven holes), the complete opposite of Niemann and Jon, one bogeyed the 3rd and the other the 6th.

All these variables greatly narrowed the classification and increased the confusion in the field. Sergio caught the Chilean at the top of the table thanks to his birdies on the 14th and 15th. The 14th was disastrous for Niemann, who slipped as he hit his second shot and his visit to the bunker ended in bogey.

Rahm chained three consecutive birdies (13, 14, 15) and took the lead over García, then both had a stroke advantage over Niemann and the South African Dean Burmester.

However, the Basque finished with two bogeys and fell from the lead to 3rd, two strokes behind García (66) and Niemann (70), who had to play for the title in a playoff after both finished with 201 stroke after three rounds of LIV Golf tournaments (-12).
