Racist insults from a rival fan to Chiquinho, a Portuguese-Cape Verdean player from Famalicao, caused Saturday’s match at the Farense field to be cut short for several minutes.
When the attacker was preparing to take a corner kick in the 80th minute, he was insulted by a Farense fan, so the player went to the referee and pointed his finger at the person who was hurling insults from the stands.
