This is how the Premier League standings look after Manchester City won their pending match

Date:

The Premier League has been a treat this season, with Manchester City finding themselves with more competition than most of last year.

Pep Guardiola’s team, the current champions, have particularly encountered resistance from Arsenal and Liverpool, who have been fighting side by side and not giving up.

The Premier League classification has been marked since the Club World Cup by a Manchester City with fewer games, but on Tuesday it was settled after beating Brentford and putting themselves on 56 points, one below leaders Liverpool and one above Arsenal.
