Joselu Mato He has suffered an injury and has been ruled out for Sunday’s match against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu (9:00 pm, DAZN). The white club reported on Friday that the forward has bone edema in his right ankle and, although the length of time was not specified, he is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks. Joselu will appear in the matches against Sevilla, Valencia, Leipzig, Celta de Vigo and Osasuna.
The attacker will not play again for Real Madrid until after the national team break in March, at which point it is doubtful whether Luis de la Fuente has decided to call him up.
This was the first injury he sustained Joselu this season. The attacker has participated in all games this campaign except the match with Braga in the group stage of the Champions League.
Joselu has been training apart from his teammates all this week and now the white club has confirmed an injury. The loss of the international represents a huge setback for Ancelotti, as he only has three healthy forwards in the squad and loses his second best scorer (13)
