According to the British press on Thursday, it appears that Red Bull has suspended the employee who accused Christian Horner of inappropriate behavior.
The British manager was acquitted of the charges on February 28 in Bahrain and another person directly involved in the case was ‘fired’ from the energy drink brand.
Everything erupted at the beginning of this month of February when Red Bull announced that an investigation had been opened after the inappropriate behavior of the Briton with another member of the staff was reported from within the team.
It was never revealed what specifically happened but Dutch media reported that they were messages of sexual content.
Horner met with Red Bull and the external lawyer following the case in London and announced that the final decision – after pressure from Ford, the FIA and Formula 1 to close the investigation as soon as possible – should be known before the start of the Sahkir’s World Cup campaign, as it were.
