British pilot alex is coming down will continue to officially compete with Kawasaki within Superbike World Championship in the next 2024 season, after renewing his contract shortly before the home round, at Donington Park.
A Superbike rider since 2014, a year after winning the British Superbike Championship, Lowes scored two podium finishes and two fastest laps in his first season. His first victory came in Brno, in the Czech Republic, in 2018, and he is part of the elite club of drivers who won the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hours three years in a row, between 2016 and 2018.
“I am excited to continue my relationship with Kawasaki for the 2024 season. Superbike racing and my motivation to achieve the best possible results on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR have never been stronger,” said Lowes in his team’s press release.
“The number one goal now is to focus on the rest of the current season, starting with my finish at Donington, and it’s really nice to have the confirmation that I’ll be racing Kawasaki again here, so I want to thank you all and I hope work with them again next season,” Lowes added.
