Carlos Sainz missed the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after being diagnosed with appendicitis. He was informed this Friday morning that he had to have surgery and by afternoon he was in the operating room. A few hours after surgerySainz himself sent the message through his social networks.
“Today I had the operation without any problems and I feel much better. Thank you for all the kind messages and everyone who is taking care of me today here in Saudi Arabia, especially at the King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital.
Well ‘deserved’ for Oliver in his hasty debut, not easy and for Lord Perceval (Charles Leclerc)”, he wrote in his X profile without losing a bit of humor.
This failure came after the exhibition at the debut GP in Bahrain. Bad luck prevents Sainz from continuing those good feelings and the Spaniard is expected to return to action in Australian Grand Prixtaking place at Albert Park (Melbourne) from March 22 to 24.
