Sainz, successfully operated on for appendicitis
Ferrari issued a statement on Friday confirming that Carlos Sainz was successfully operated appendicitis which prevented him from completing the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The operation went without any complications and the Spaniard is now resting in hospital to begin his recovery.
