Cristiano Ronaldo, the crack of Manchester United, is among six nominees for Player of the Year, an award given by the English Association of Professional Footballers (PFA). The winner will be announced on June 9th.

Completing the list of players nominated for the award are Kevin De Bruyne, Premier League winner along with Manchester City, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah, three members of runner-up Liverpool, and Harry Kane, the Tottenham’s top scorer. .

De Bruyne has won awards over the past two seasons, while Cristiano Ronaldo has won awards twice in his first spell with Manchester United in 2007 and 2008.
