Bryant was 41 years old when he debuted his record in his 187th tournament, at Valero Texas Open in 2004. The following year, he won the Memories and defeated Tiger Woods for six blows to Tour Championship.
The American golfer has also won the PGA Tour Champions twice.
“The PGA Tour is saddened by the tragic passing of Bart Bryant and our hearts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time,” said the PGA Tour Commissioner, Jay Monah |.
“The Bryants have been part of the PGA Tour family for over four decades and we are grateful for the impact and legacy he has left in our organization and countless communities. Bart will be missed.”
Bryant reached No. 22 in the world ranking in November 2005. His best result in a Grand Slam It is a 23rd place in the British Open disputed in St Andrews in 2005.
