Today, Thursday, is a full day of quarterfinals at the ATP and WTA 1000 Masters in Indian Wells. Eight individual matches are played, between men and women, as on Friday there are women’s semi-finals, leaving the men’s semi-finals for Saturday.
In this programming award, the center court will have two women’s matches as its entrance, leaving the clash between the Spaniards in the third round Carlos Alcaraz and the german Alexander Zverevwhich will be measured no earlier than 11 pm Spanish peninsular (and central European) time, three in the afternoon at Tennis Paradise, the venue of the event within the California desert.
Alcaraz faced off for the ninth time against an opponent he had beaten the last two times, both recently and on a hard court. They fell in the group stage of the ATP Finals, as well as in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. The Murcian will try to take revenge today, repeat the victory in the quarterfinals of the US Open 2023.
The best of this clash will meet the winner of the rivalry between the Italians Jannik Sinner and the czech Jiri Leheckaarranged at Stadium 2 at 7 pm Central European Time.
The tournament will be televised via Movistar Plus+ (men) and TDP and DAZN (women).
