The team Soudal Quick-Step this Thursday confirmed the identity of the six cyclists who will join Mikel Landa in the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2024, which will be held from March 18 to 24 and in this edition will give special prominence to the mountains.
The Alava cyclist will share the lineup with the Czech Jan Hirt, the Frenchman Antoine Huby, the British James Knox, and the Belgians William Junior Lecerf, Ilan van Wilder and Mauri Vansevenant.
Landa, 34, signed in the summer for the Belgian team from Bahrain and will emerge as team leader in the absence of Remco Evenepoel, who last year finished second in the Catalan event after starring in an even duel with Slovenian Primoz Roglic , which also did not attend this edition.
